It's sooooo darn hot!

man...it's soooo hot today.

actually it was pretty warm last night too ...i didn't even use the covers like i usually do...poor harry seemed like he was baking last night. i left out an extra bowl of water in the bedroom which he did frequent quite a couple times until he fell asleep and left the fan on for a couple of hours.

so today i made a trip to Tuesday Morning at lunch to pick up one of those doggie cooling mats (hope it works..but it was only $20 anyways), a new doggie bed, a new blankie, and some summer themed toys (a red lobster and a blue blowfish with silver fins)...

he's been throwing up on and off this week early mornings ...but only liquid/bile and no food...i read online and maybe it was because he gets pretty hungry by morning...so now he gets two meals a day (once in the morning, and once at dinnertime) and a treat right before bed...he didn't throw up this morning which is a good sign...i hope he won't tomorrow morning.

i have a vet appt set for this saturday at 11:30 for his fecal flotation test, a rabies shot (since I don't know where his paperwork went), and a checkup just to make sure he's ok...

we've never had a dog before, so if anyone has an suggestions or recommendations...throw them my way...

i've never had pets...i guess it's probably because im a germaphobe. when you mention fecal flotation and bile throw up....makes me quiver inside.

but i'm guessing the love and company they provide you makes it all worth it.

if i had a dog, and it started throwing up...id probably get a new one hahaha

omg.....hahahaha. ya, it's all worth it...and for the longest time i refused to get a dog...but strangely i've become so attached, lol. i'm a total small dog lover (with exception to boingo, which is a big dog)! usually i get queasy with gross stuff and poop and throw up but with harry i feel so bad for the little guy that i have to do something about it...altho when i talked to andi about it today she said her dogs would do the same thing if they ate something that didn't agree with them, then they would go out and eat her lemongrass plant and be fine thereafter...i'm glad she's bringing one up for me in july :P

yeah wierd...plus she said she's given her dogs a little dose (half tablet or smaller) of tylenol if they get a little feverish and then they're fine by the next morning...

this morning no throw up tho so that's good....no throw up 2 mornings in a row...
