back to taiwan we go...

yep! we're off to taiwan next week...just decided earlier this week! lol!

feels soo nice to do something spontaneous :P even if i go negatory on the pto (which i will be by a couple of days). needless to say my mom was really surprised...she just came back not too long ago from bejing on a business trip with my dad ...so more "vacation" for her. she's always saying how it's her vacation when we go back because she gets to take us to the places she wouldn't normally go to on her own. that lady is like an energizer bunny....she has enough energy to outlast me and dave...how sad...seriously. dude! i hope she doesn't schedule another "dr. appt" for me....and i hope i won't be coming back with another small suitcase full of "herbs".

john will be harry&copper&house-sitting while we are away. we'll be leaving on the 17th and coming back on the 25th just in time for a nice fun-filled weekend and much needed rest to get over some jet-lag.

not sure what we will do there since it might be rainy but there are places underground (even inbetween train stations), covered night markets, and some historical sights to go explore and maybe we'll take a trip to the zoo despite the rain. maybe we can take a trip to taipei 101 again (above pic from the last time we went) and try and find what that andrew zimmern was eating there...i swear i didn't see any intestines on the menu last time i went....hahaha j/k...well not really, i'd eat it...

hmm...rainy and 90 degrees out...how do you dress for that? guess it's better than being in hot weather with the sun beating down...at least for me...i'm the type that likes warm cloudy weather lol.
