well...this week turned out kinda crappy....work kinda sucked and now laptop has some crazy virus on it i think....so gotta take it in to get it fixed :( wah! ergh...not what i needed to happen this week....i wonder how much it's going to cost?

crazy viruses out there these days. its the story of my life at work. i am a full time anti-virus dude.
i assume you got hit with mydoom, blaster, or sasser. it's malware that everyone else has been getting these past few months: the one where you get prompted to install antivirus 2009 because it just detected that you have a virus.
it's awful and there is really no fix for it. you might be able to install microsoft malicious software removal tool - you can get it here: http://www.microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.mspx
be sure to backup all your files and be prepared to reinstall your OS from scratch.
ive had to do more than a dozen cleanups like these this past year.
erg...ya figured it was something like that....i've never had a virus that caused my compy problems like this one...just ever since vista came out :(
