CAUTION: LONG POST....
sorry haven't posted in a while...after a couple of days in taiwan i had the worst food poisoning EVER...not sure what i ate since i ate everything that dave ate too...but it was horrid...so for the last few days in taiwan i was busy running to the bathroom and for 3 or 4 days back from taiwan i was still busy running to the bathroom after every meal....
wierd...never had that happen before.....esp for it to last so long! ...and had to suffer thru month end at work, working overtime and catching up on my hundreds of emails from when i was away from vaca....sometimes i think going on vaca is not worth all the drama that i have to come back to at work...but hey...gotta enjoy life sometime right? ...even if it is with a bout of food poisoning....
anyhow...i think my GI's back on track and i'm finally returning to normal.
the quarter end craze at work is FINALLY over as of today (finished all my audit selections and SOX compliance analysis/reports)...we should have a better reporting tool ..the way we do it at work is fricking tedious and with volumes rising it takes longer and longer...i spent at least 15 hours on my reports and selections...
while the economy has been going down (as with our stock price)...we've hired 123 new employees this year and have another 80+ positions to fill, which is really encouraging to hear...glad we're not one of those companies that are laying off people.
can you believe it's been so busy it's taken me away from WoW? ...i hadn't touched my WoW for a little over a week after i came back from vaca...and finally jumped on last night to run some BG's...that was refreshing :)
looking forward to this weekend since i'll be doing some stamping and coming up with baby shower ideas for Debbie :) (gratz debbie!!!!) hopefully my creative mind will be overflowing and i'll make tons of cards...one of my coworkers bought like 15 cards yesterday so i'm running out at work.
dave just started work this week so it's been good...i'm glad he has day shift :)...now just waiting for that paycheck...not that i'm going to spend it lol...but just wanna see how much it will impact our savings...
now the question is...when should i get my mini cooper? and what color? convertible or hardtop?

Sorry to heat that you got sick...sounds like you could have created your own poop exhibit lol. hopefully it didnt take away too much of your vacation there.

deals can be had with this tanking economy! did you watch the market today.
i like how they called it a "rally" at the end even though it finished down 128. when i went to lunch it was down 400+ and i lost my apetite. i wouldnt call that a rally under any circumstances.

no kidding...not many people are buying anything...so i'm sure there are deals for the taking! :)
